🚲 A WHOPPING 100 NEW BICYCLES! 🚲 That's the fantastic donation Shook Construction has generously pledged to our Fourth Annual Bikes & Badges event. We couldn't say yes fast enough! This incredible company is hosting its annual convention in May, where employees will assemble these 100 bikes during a team building activity. Columbus Division of Police officers will distribute the bikes to kids through our partners at Columbus Recreation and Parks Department this summer.
Starfish Board Members had the pleasure of meeting with the exceptional individuals from Shook Construction, as well as the Columbus Convention Center team who will help bring the event to life. We're collaborating on the logistics of transporting the bikes into and out of the convention center, and we'll make sure to share updates when it happens.
We are immensely grateful for this amazing donation and can't wait to witness the joy on the children's faces when they receive their new bikes. This is just the start of Bikes & Badges 2023–stay tuned for more exciting news!
