Today, Starfish Assignment member (and birthday boy) Joe McKinley traveled up Sawmill Rd to Walmart to try to bail his friend Joshua McDonald out of jail. Alas, Prisoner McDonald was well guarded by Columbus Division of Police officers, and bail was a bit steep.
Nonetheless, Joe made donations on behalf of his family and Starfish Assignment and was rewarded with a hug from Joshua.
We are hoping to welcome the reformed prisoner at one of our Starfish events very soon!
