This evening Columbus Division of Police Ofc Pete Casuccio (5 Precinct, South Linden) educated us on some of the challenges South Linden faces and how groups like Starfish Assignment can help to make a difference. Ofc Casuccio is a compelling speaker and a compassionate man. One of the projects Starfish will helping Ofc Casuccio with this is Cops and Barbers, an event he started with his friend Rob, who is a barber by trade. Rob and Pete join their professions to provide kids with fresh haircuts and new school supplies, setting them up for success as they begin a new school year.
