Today we met with 13 Precinct (South Side) officers about how Starfish can best help them support the needs of the people they serve. Before the meeting began, Columbus Division of Police Community Liaison Officer Tim Mounts and Starfish Assignment President Nicole Banks celebrated their United States Marine Corps birthday. Ofc Mounts was an 0311 (Infantryman) who served on board the USS Iowa and at Camp Lejeune. Nicole was a 5811 (Military Police Officer) who served in Okinawa and at Camp Lejeune.
They DID share their cake with the 13 Precinct officers, who joined them in singing the Marines Hymn--"From the halls of Montezuma..." (Lyrics were provided.)
