One of the things we love about what we do is seeing children and officers interact. For example, kids are always surprised when they find out the officers' body armor sounds like wood when they knock on it. Here, Columbus Division of Police Lieutenant Chris Lieb showed that trick to some children after our Cops & Barbers event on Sunday. He also answered their questions about policing and let them run the lights on his vehicle.
One of our missions is to bring the police and the community closer together, so we're grateful to see interactions like this and the smiles they put on everyone's faces. (Ours included.)
