Books & Badges: Jefferson Elementary

Two years ago today, Books & Badges was given the green-light by Columbus Division of Police. Since then, we've given more than 9,000 books to our partner agencies to read to elementary school kids--and don't forget we've had a pandemic going on nearly that entire time!

We were thrilled to hear that our friends at Gahanna Division of Police had a Books & Badges reading this morning at Jefferson Elementary School. Officer Doug Reisinger read “The Truth (and Myths) About Creepy Places” to Mrs. Sands and Mrs. Keyes fourth grade students. Officer Kelie Moffitt joined him, helping to pass out the books and special color-changing Gahanna PD pencils to the kids. They're excited to do additional readings as soon as possible!
