We've been friends with Marion Police Lieutenant Mark Elliot and K-9 Six for quite a while, so we were thrilled to hear that they were able to read for Books & Badges last week! The duo, who has their own Facebook page, Marion Six, read to Mrs. Tatman's fifth-graders at Benjamin Harrison Elementary. Six signed every book for them. How cute is that?
Lieutenant Elliot said the class was very attentive and had a lot of questions about K-9 Six. You might have some as well. You can read about him and Marion's other K-9's on their website.
This particular K-9 team had such a good time that they're already signed up to read to another group of fifth graders. We love to hear it!
