We went to northwest Columbus yesterday for an event at Carriage Place Community Center with Columbus Division of Police. The older kids had fun playing kickball with the officers (and very nearly beat them), while the younger kids were treated to a Books & Badges reading. They all received copies of the books the officers read and gifts from CPD's Community Liaison Officers.
What an unforgettable day of connection and play. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in making this day memorable.
