We had a blast braving the cold waters at the 2024 Polar Plunge! Laughter, cheers, and more than a few shivers filled the air as everyone took the plunge for an amazing cause--supporting the incredible athletes of Special Olympics Ohio.
Our own Starfish Board members, Columbus Division of Police Deputy Chief Tim Myers and Lieutenant Chris Lieb, joined a fantastic group of CPD officers who happily got wet (and cold!). We also got to see friends from places like Hilliard Division of Police, the Licking County Sheriff's Office, and Columbus Division of Fire.
The many amazing plungers raised over $230,000 for Special Olympics athletes! That's more than just defying the cold water--it's a community celebration of love and support. Thank YOU for being part of it! Your contributions truly make a difference in the lives of countless athletes, proving once again that together, we can create a wave of positive impact.
We're already planning for next year's plunge and hope you'll join us!
