Lazelle Woods Party

Congratulations to Columbus Division of Police Officers Sturgell and Roderick for helping the children in the summer camp program at Lazelle Woods Community Center have a very memorable end-of-the-year party. They invited friends from the Mounted Unit, Helicopter Unit, and even got a dunk tank for the kids to enjoy. (We see some adults there having a great time, too!)

Did you know that all new Columbus officers choose a program to devote their attention to after their first year of service? It's called a Community Immersion Project, and working with the children at Lazelle was what Officers Sturgell and Roderick chose.

We were honored to receive an invitation to this amazing event, and we're so proud of these exceptional officers, who we've known since their cadet days. We look forward to working with them on many projects to come!
