On patrol in Prairie Township, Franklin County Sheriff's Deputy Lowell Wood doesn't just enforce the law, he actively searches for ways to make connections with the community he serves. Recently, he encountered a mother facing tough times who urgently needed a car seat for her child. Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors to our general fund, we were able to immediately step in and provide this vital safety need.
Deputy Wood delivered the car seat himself, and the overwhelmed mother's gratitude was truly touching.
