Virtual Books & Badges: Lt Scott Bartholow

Join us on the Columbus Division of Police Facebook page for a Virtual Books & Badges reading with Lieutenant Scott Bartholow on Monday, May 11 at noon. Lt Bartholow leads the Community Liaison Officers, a group of officers we work very closely with, and he holds a special place in Starfish history: he is the first police officer we ever spoke to about our dream of establishing Starfish Assignment Columbus. We met with him on July 25, 2018, and he has been involved with and encouraging of our efforts ever since. He has helped fully supported us on all of our major Assignments including Cops and Barbers, our AEP Ohio Drives, our 2019 Gift Bag Project, and Books & Badges (back when Books & Badges was just a dream).

Lt Bartholow has served the citizens of Columbus for 27 years. Prior to his position as leader of the CLOs, Lt Bartholow worked on 5C company as an officer and 12B as a sergeant. (He says these are the two best precincts in the city.) He has also supervised the Mounted Unit, the Recruiting Unit, High School/Truancy, and Zone Investigators.

We're thrilled that he'll be reading to the children of Columbus, and we hope you'll join us.
