Join us on the Columbus Division of Police Facebook page for a very special, three-day event of Books & Badges readings: K-9 WEEK! Officer David Jones and K-9 Ayko kicked us off on Monday. (If you missed them, you can see them by going to the Videos tab on the CPD Facebook page.) Officer Brian Carter and K-9 Odja will read on Wednesday, May 6 at noon, and Officer John Kifer and K-9 Carr will close out the week on Friday, May 8 at noon.
Ofc Carter has been with CPD for 28 years and K-9 for 12 years. Ofc Carter has had three K-9's: Rasta, Benzi, and now Odja, who he's had for one year, and who will be with him on Wednesday.
