We are thrilled to announce that the Johnstown Police Department is now part of our Starfish family! Starfish Board Member Jamie Wright met with Chief Smart and Officer Lopez, who are just as excited as we are, eager to make their mark in our Books & Badges program. Each child attending an event is in for a fun surprise--they'll not only get to hear a great story read by an officer, but they'll also receive a personal copy of the book, complete with the opportunity for an autograph.
These officers are passionate about fostering a love for reading and nurturing the intellectual growth of the community's youngest members. They believe in the power of stories to inspire, educate, and uplift, and we're so excited to see their Books & Badges program grow.
