We're thrilled to welcome the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction to our Starfish family! Their team in Lexington, NC is eager to strengthen community ties by connecting officers with students and families through the joy of reading.
With a strong foundation in supporting School Resource Officers (SROs) and engaging in community events like National Night Out, they see Books & Badges as a perfect way to expand positive interactions between law enforcement and the communities they serve. They will read to students, answer questions about their jobs, and every child goes home with a copy of the book!
