We’re excited to welcome the Perry County Sheriff's Office, led by Sheriff William R. Barker, as our newest partner! Detective David Kennedy will be leading the Books & Badges initiative, working closely with Misty White, the School Outreach Supervisor from Perry County Children Services, to coordinate these special reading events. Through Books & Badges, Detective Kennedy and his fellow deputies will read to children in Perry County, with each child receiving a copy of the book to take home.
Perry County is a community that values connection and support, and we’re honored to contribute to that spirit by bringing the joy of reading to as many children as possible. Join us in welcoming the Perry County Sheriff’s Office to our program!
