We’re excited to welcome our newest agency partner, the New Lexington Police Department, to the Starfish Assignment family! Located in the heart of Perry County, Ohio, New Lexington is a close-knit community dedicated to supporting its residents. Under the leadership of Chief Douglas Gill, the department is committed to maintaining a safe and encouraging environment for all, with a particular focus on fostering strong bonds with the younger generation.
A special shoutout to School Resource Officer Corey Abram, who will be working closely with us to bring Books & Badges to New Lexington! This program allows officers to read to children, and each student receives a copy of the book to take home. It’s a great way for officers to connect with students, fostering trust and positive relationships. Welcome aboard, New Lexington PD!
